More Details

Product Description

HH-814 is a high performance hardfacing flux-cored welding wire (FCW) specially designed for top coats of roller presses, mill rollers, crusher rolls and other parts subjected to high stress abrasive wear combined with medium impact. The deposited metal is a high chromium high carbon hard alloy on iron base with niobium addition, containing fine dispersed niobium carbides, which provides excellent resistance to high stress abrasive wear, good impact resistance and good resistance to spalling, delivering long service life in severe working conditions.

Key Properties

Anti Abrasion

Anti Impact

Anti Spalling

Heat Resistant

Product Features

Feature Description
Wear Resistance Excellent resistance to high stress abrasive wear, suitable for high wear conditions.
Impact Resistance Good impact resistance, suitable for medium impact stress conditions.
Spalling Resistance Good resistance to spalling.
Microstructure High chromium high carbon hard alloy on iron base with niobium addition, containing fine dispersed niobium carbides, typical primary carbide structure.
Machinability Grinding only; not machinable.
Cutting Not suited for flame-cutting.
Surfacing Method Multi-layer surfacing is possible.
Weld Bead Appearance The weld metal will show cracks, which are typical stress-relief cracks of hardfacing deposits.
